Whatever the occasion, we can help you organise the perfect celebration in one of our beautifully appointed function rooms, whether you’re looking to get together to enjoy a casual meal from our ‘All day Dinner Menu’, an afternoon tea, a formal dinner or a lavish banquet, charity ball, corporate event, award ceremony or dinner dance for up to 200 guests.

No matter how large or small, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and corporate business dinners all become that little bit more special on our unique Island venue hotel as you are guaranteed great food and a very warm welcome from our professional team who will be on hand for you from start to finish and take care of every detail.

The Locks –This room is perfect for small intimate celebrations for numbers up to 20 with floor to ceiling windows on to the Locks. Take in the amazing view; watch the narrow boats and wildlife sail by, while making special memories with those closest to you.

Manfred Suite – Manfred Suite is a lovely room with fresh interiors and Waterfront views. This banqueting room can hold up 90 guests or 80 with a dance floor.

Mercer Suite 1 & 2 – Wow! After you have taken in the amazing view of the floor to ceiling windows take a seat in your own private bar & lounge. The room is perfect for banqueting for up to 220 guests but don’t worry if your numbers are less the room also has the flexibility to be divided up so you will never feel lost! This room will be dressed to impress and your guests will feel extra spoilt in the Mercer Suite

Please choose 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert for all guests.

 

Starter

Homemade tomato and sweet baby basil soup (v)

Chicken liver pate real ale chutney and toasted brioche

Mozzarella and plum tomato salad with wild rocket and balsamic (v)

 

Main

Roasted loin of pork with Chateau potatoes and braised savoy cabbage, with a calvados cream sauce

Chicken supreme with Dauphinoise potato, tenderstem broccoli and a smooth rosemary sauce

Oven baked salmon crushed sweet potato and buttered green beans and a dill sauce

Sweet potato and wild mushroom risotto finished with cream (v)

 

Dessert

Cream filled profiteroles topped with a rich chocolate sauce

Tangy lemon tart crème Chantilly and a fruit sauce

Twice baked vanilla cheesecake with a rich fruit compote

Blended leek and potato soup with a garlic and thyme sippet

Traditional smoked salmon with black pepper Guacamole

Warm goats cheese and red onion tart (v)

Braised rump of lamb rosemary sauce, Dauphinoise potato and buttered seasonal green beans

3 hour braised Daube of beef creamed mash potato and seasoned carrots with a smoked bacon sauce

Whole baked trout with peppers and olives gherkin butter

Stilton and roasted red pepper flat cap mushroom with a sorrel crumb (v)

 

Dessert

Warm chocolate fondant with a smooth chocolate sauce

Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla pod ice cream

Vanilla panna cotta with a white rum and fruit compote
